Connecting your printer to the network

Your Klipper based printer boasts a rich GUI for control and operations, supporting robust workflows. It features a web based GUI called Fluidd. This requires the printer to be connected to your local network.

The simplest and most reliable way to connect is using the included Ethernet port. Alternatively follow Elegoo's instructions to connect to the WiFi for those models which feature built in WiFi. Alternatively use a ethernet to WiFi bridge or a USB based WiFi dongle (less reliable). It expects an IP address delivered from the DHCP service normally found on your router. Assigning it a fixed IP address is recommended.

You can view the printer's current IP address from the side Screen in the “Settings > About Machine” display, use this address to connect to in a web browser from your local network to access the Fluid GUI.

Note: Addresses beginning with 169.x.x.x arelink local address and indicate the printer wasn't able to obtain a usable IP address.
